VP of Student Engagement

TiAnna S. Harris (Vice President, Student Engagement) is the founder and CEO of Emerge2 Solutions servicing Marion and surrounding Counties. TiAnna has over twenty-five (25) years of dedicated community involvement that focuses on youth and family initiatives as well as bridging the gap between Small Business Owners and consumers. TiAnna is a native of Ocala, Florida where she is known to be an agent for change and advocating for collaborative efforts to benefit youth, families and the community in which she serves. TiAnna has been employed with the State of Florida for over twenty-seven (27) years. In 2018, TiAnna became the President of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Marion County Branch. TiAnna was the third female President as well as the youngest since the history of the branch. TiAnna is the Vice President of the Ocala Juneteenth Celebration Commission and the current Vice President of Student Engagement for the University of Florida Association of Black Alumni Gainesville Chapter.

TiAnna has obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Minor in Education from THE University of Florida (Go Gators!!). TiAnna has also obtained a Master’s Degree in Leadership from THE GREAT Bethune-Cookman University. TiAnna has served as the President of THE Marion County Class of 1992, a member of the State of Florida Probation Advisory Team and a Lifeskills Facilitator. She is also the co-founder of the Marion County Black Business Network. TiAnna has been recognized by various organizations in Alachua and Marion Counties for her community involvement. TiAnna takes pride in identifying a disparity and placing positive programming that wraps around the issues to bring awareness. TiAnna has been highly effective with collaborating and networking with varies organizational leaders to impact the community as a unit. TiAnna is dedicate, driven, knowledgeable and determined to enhance the youth, families, and community for generations to come.
