Raya T. McCray is a 49 year old entrepreneur with over 20 years of event planning experience, a graduate of the University of Florida, and a proud initiate of the Zeta Phi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi.

Raya McCray organizational skills in corporate America positioned him to be highly sought after, as the Chairman, for the introduction of President Bush’s Faith Based Initiative.  Raya McCray became the elected Chairman through the Department of Labor for the State of Florida.  The primary focus was to organize and build a group of 25 agencies into a national powerhouse group of 200.  This group consisted of non-profit agencies, for profit corporations, churches, banks, local, state and federal governmental agencies.  Through this chairmanship a very strong portfolio of partners for new opportunities had been established and the creation of his investment company was his new focus.

While attending the University of Florida the importance of community leadership was inspired and developed through active church participation and a commitment to volunteering. The ABA will provide more opportunities to do community building.
