Omar Aguila is an Associate Manager for the Production Control team in Orlando, Florida supporting the Training & Logistics Solutions program lines.  He leads a powerful team of professionals collaborating with engineering and the supply chain to manufacture hundreds of products in our 160K square foot factory and through other sister factories across the RMS business area.  Combining legacy support needs with innovative manufacturing concepts, Omar has enjoyed serving the Production Operations organization in multiple leadership roles in sustainment and new production programs.  Through every phase of the production life cycle, Omar crafts solutions that ensure our customer’s products are built to meet or exceed their intended standard.

Omar is passionate about collaboration around improving business processes and the development of future leaders within the business pipeline.  He supports Lean & Six Sigma process improvement initiatives as an Enterprise Excellence Black Belt facilitator.  In this role, he works with program teams to analyze, isolate, mitigate, and eliminate problems blocking our business goals.  He enjoys solving abstract challenges deploying quantitative analysis and solutions for the sake of generating veterans for our nation.  He also trains and mentors “Problem Solvers” at the Yellow Belt and Green Belt training levels.  Omar serves as the Operations Leadership Development Program site lead for participants rotating at the RMS Orlando site. 

Mr. Aguila earned a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Business from the University of Florida and a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Central Florida.
