Megan Johnson

VP of Membership

Megan Elizabeth Johnson graduated from the University of Florida in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a concentration in Spanish. In 2020, she received a graduate degree from the University of Florida of her Master of Health Administration. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education in Applied Learning Sciences from the University of Miami. Megan serves as President for the Daytona Beach Gator Club or the Volusia County affiliate for the University of Florida’s Alumni Association.

Megan has experience working with non-profits in Central Florida and completed campaign management to secure $1 million was raised in her tenure. For the United Health Group (Optum/WellMed) she serves as the Physician Business Associate tasked with OneTeam project management for the Greater Orlando market. Also, she is the owner and Creative Director of Zow Management The Studio LLC, a firm that completes project-based work for clients seeking brand development, creative services, or design. For Bethune-Cookman University, she serves as an adjunct professor.

At her time at the University of Florida, Megan was involved in numerous organizations and professional development. Megan served on the Health Administration Student Association Executive Board as VP of Public Relations and Recruitment Chair. Professionally, she worked at the McKnight Brain Institute and UF Health supervising a team of up to 125 individuals that included quality improvement, training, and workflow management.

Her photographs have been featured in many visual art exhibits and published works including Mary McLeod Bethune in Florida: Bringing Social Justice to the Sunshine State. Megan has completed manuscript writing and published written work from local to national publications.
