Please check all positions you are nominating yourself for. *President: Responsible for leading UF ABA Jacksonville, while promoting and executing the vision shall convene meetings and serve as presiding officer; represents the local on the President's Council and the National Board; official spokesperson of the local ABA; and shall perform other duties as prescribed in the rules and operating instructions of the University of Florida Alumni Association affiliatesPresident-Elect: Shall perform the duties of President in the absence or disability of the President; shall perform ancillary duties assigned by the President to support the successful implementation of chapter activities, initiatives and Special Events; shall oversee all Vice Presidents and serve as liaison to all ABA affiliate chaptersTreasurer: Assists in the oversight of the funds of the chapter; keeps full and accurate account of receipts and expenditures; shall make disbursements as authorized by the BoardSecretary: Shall record the minutes of all regular chapter, Executive Board meetings and special call meetings; maintain an accurate record that documents the major activities, initiatives and programs undertaken by the chapter, as well as member databaseVice President, Athletic Engagement: Oversees athletics-related events and liaisons between University Athletic AssociationVice President, Communications: Develops monthly ABA Jax newsletter to membership and oversees social mediaVice President, Development: Works closely with ABA Endowment fund and local scholarship effortsVice President, Membership: Responsible for cultivating and engaging members, including non-alumni supportVice President, Young Alumni: Develops programs and activities for alumni and aspiring GatorsMember At Large: Serves the Board’s strategic needs as determined by the President at any given time; may have various roles and responsibilities – short or long term.NONE OF THESEPlease provide a summary of your community service experience. *Please provide a explanation of your interest and qualification for service on the ABA-South Florida Board. *Submit
