Jasmine Jones
Director of Volunteers
Jasmine is a native Floridian, and proud graduate of The University of Florida, where she earned her undergraduate degree in sociology. She is a natural and passionate connector and servant leader and is excited to serve as the VP of Volunteers for the Central Florida ABA.
Jasmine currently serves as the Program Manager for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for a hospital-based research institute. She previously worked as a congregation-based community organizer in Volusia County, working with community members and local officials to increase accountability and implement action plans to resolve critical community needs around areas such as transportation, education, homelessness, and reducing recidivism in jails to name a few. This experience was a catalyst for Jasmine earning her master’s degree in Public Administration.
Jasmine also serves as Vice President of the Central Florida Urban League Young Professionals Chapter. Her work with Urban League supports the mission of being dedicated to empowering young professionals through civic, community, and professional opportunities that create pathways for advancement.
Jasmine looks forward to engaging with the Central Florida UF Black Alumni community and for a great year ahead.
