Jerell Blackburn

Jerell Blackburn is a Higher Education Student Affairs scholar-practitioner with six years of experience actively engaging in academic and professional communities and implementing interactive student programs while developing collaborative relationships across the organization. His postsecondary academic journey began at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL, where he earned an Associate of Arts degree in Exercise and Sports Science. While pursuing his degree, he remained actively committed to volunteerism and a range of service activities for the benefit of Santa Fe College and the Greater Gainesville communities. His passion for community collaboration led him to a number of volunteer opportunities, including Habitat for Humanity and the Boys and Girls Club of Alachua County. After completing my Associate of Arts degree, he was accepted to the University of Central Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Throughout his time at UCF, he worked alongside UCF faculty, conducting autism research. He subsequently completed a Master of Education degree in Student Personnel in Higher Education at the University of Florida, where he continues to develop professionally and personally.
