Dr. Marie Michelle Rosemond, originally from New York, moved to Port Charlotte, Florida, during her high school years. She pursued her education at the University of Florida, which laid the foundation for her 27-year career in various higher education roles, culminating in her position as Vice President for Student Success at the Cabinet level. Although retired from higher education, Michelle continues to share her strengths, knowledge, skills, and abilities to empower teams to achieve success.
In 2023-2024, Michelle served as Vice President for Fundraising on the Atlanta ABA. Recognizing a greater need to help the team grow administratively, she will take on the role of Secretary from 2024-2026. In every role she assumes, Michelle eagerly shares her expertise and passion for education.
Michelle’s academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Florida, a Master’s in Human Resources and Organizational Development, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University. Today, she channels her entrepreneurial spirit into initiatives that prioritize well-being and executive coaching. Outside of her professional pursuits, Michelle enjoys spending quality time with her family and maintaining an active lifestyle, regularly participating in activities such as powerlifting, weightlifting, Zumba, and church.
