President

Dana T. Gardner is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition (2002) and then matriculated to Florida State University where she earned a Master’s of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences (2005). After graduation, Dana returned to Jacksonville to begin her career as a clinical dietitian with one of Jacksonville’s local hospitals where she worked with a range of disease states, providing patients with nutritional recommendations to improve outcomes. Currently working in the community, Dana is focused on eliminating food deserts, ensuring the elderly have access to affordable goods and teaching the community how to enjoy food while still being mindful of their total health – mental, spiritual and physical. Dana is licensed as dietitian/nutritionist in the State of Florida as well as the founder and owner of Jax Fresh Mobile Market. The mission of the company is to assist with balancing the love of food with the desire for good health. As President of the Jacksonville Chapter, Dana focuses on uniting alumni of all ages, supporting incoming young Gators as well as to boosting community engagement within Jacksonville, Florida..
