She became a full-time caregiver for her grandmother until she passed away in 2018.   As a licensed minister, Cescyia shares her faith through writing, producing inspirational clips to encourage people, and showing God’s love to those who need a light in a dark world.  Cescyia published two books, “Look Up” and “New Journey, New You” in 2021.  Both books reflect the different seasons of her life to include her journey as a college student at the University of Florida and life as a caregiver.

Cescyia has been an advocate for many families seeking caregiving resources and families seeking educational resources for their children.    For fun she likes to volunteer with Compassion International, Child Fund, and Feed the Hungry who supports international mission work.  Cescyia also loves to work in her garden and hangout with family and friends.

Cescyia has been a life member of the UF Alumni Association since 2009.  Throughout the Tampa Bay community, she has volunteered with several organizations that assist families in need.  Cescyia is excited about serving as the President of the ABA- Tampa Bay Chapter and looks forward to bringing back our ABA community.
