Alisha Lewis is a native of Jacksonville, FL and holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts (Ceramics), with minors in Art History and African American Studies from the University of Florida. She also obtained a Master of Professional Studies, Business of Art and Design, from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. Alisha is an artist and educator deeply rooted in the community. A passionate educator, engaging with the community through various art workshops. She creates paintings and sculptures inspired by histories of the American South for exhibition, private collection and government commissions.
