Amanda Edwards is a double Gator (BS’ Telecommunication ’08; MSM ’10) from Gainesville giving back and paying it forward serving as the Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement in the University of Florida’s Alumni Association.  Within UF, Amanda works to improve and strengthen engagement, connections and experiences for UF’s nearly 475,000 alumni.  Beyond UF, Amanda is always rooting for and representing Gator Nation.

She’s active in her church and the Gainesville theater community.  As the Gainesville chapter for fiscal year 2024, Amanda steadfastly promotes the necessity, benefit and value of being a member of the Association of Black Alumni. The ACCESS, CONNECTIONS and IMPACT of ABA are unmatched and she encourages everyone to “get off the sidelines and get involved!”.
