ABA President's National Address
Hello ABA Family,
We hope this message finds you safe and well. We recognize the impact of the recent storms on attendance, and we truly missed seeing everyone. Your presence is always deeply valued, and we look forward to reuniting on February 6-8th, 2025.
Our time together in February will kick off a new tradition of hosting BAR during Black History Month while maintaining our homecoming Gator spirit. We will continue our beloved homecoming activities by participating in the parade and our annual tailgate on the Reitz Union lawn. Additionally, we will honor our Gator Legacy Awards honorees, a tradition proudly initiated by our 1984 team.
BAR 2025 serves as a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and connection. This change allows for more member connection, participation, student involvement, and engagement from administration and UAA with different sports programs. It also fosters collaboration with other affiliate groups who share our goals.
ABA has always been known for setting the pace with innovative changes driven by inclusivity while championing our cause. Stay tuned for more details about BAR 2025. We can’t wait to see you all there!
BAR 2024 Recap and Events: Recaps and events from BAR 2024 will be posted to our website soon, so keep an eye out! Thank you to everyone who attended and supported BAR 2024. Your participation made it truly special.
